A fantastic example of the creative collaboration between Architect, Client and Timber Framer. This innovative and exciting eco house combines a green oak frame with Structural Insulated Panels (SIP) to provide structural integrity and is clad with natural stone in an inventive way to create a dry stone wall effect for the ground floor with horizontal timber cladding above.
Various eco-systems have been utilized in the house including a whole house heat recovery heating and ventilation system with an air source heat pump to ensure the build is as sustainable as possible.
This house reveals how traditional materials can be used in fresh and contemporary ways to create a dramatic sustainable home.
