The Drum
Elliptical in plan and with charred cladding and orange windows, The Drum cabin is the perfect place for getting away from the daily grind.
Located on the west coast of Scotland, this one bedroom curved self-contained cabin, nestles within a small clearing of its woodland setting.
Large areas of glazing ensure a constant connection to the outside whilst the elliptical form echos the traditional Scottish brochs and makes the relationship of the cabin to the site more natural and organic than a more conventional, rectangular form.
Within The Drum, the central space contains the kitchenette, dining and sitting area, whilst flanking walls divide this space from the bedroom to one side and a shower room to the other.
